Launched last year, the ZenFone 5 was intended to be a smartphone with great cost/benefit ratio. In that, it was successful. Now, ASUS launches this new device, the ZenFone 2, which is very superior to its predecessor, not even being a replacement or a competitor in market.

When the ZenFone 2 was first announced in CES 2015 , there was a major detail that many probably missed: 4GB of RAM. Now that it's actually out in the world, the fuss over it still isn't great, but it sure is something that many can appreciate. But what about the rest of the phone?

The phone is still a good deal, but don't expect any customer service or warranty repair if you need it. Basically, normal wear and tear from daily usage qualifies as voiding your warranty. Asus uses the much-despised repair facility Pegatron, which happens to be located in my hometown.

-Installed Android 6.0.1, it wiped out most, if not all of the bloatware. This also improved the auto rotate issue, wasn't a complete fix but I hardly notice if it fails anymore. -Look up rotation control under the app store, there are some good apps that give you complete control of the rotation,...

-Size, I like the big screen, and a clear picture; -The camera is great! I have read bad reviews on it, I'm guessing they didn't try to use the HDR functions; -Expandable, I currently have a 200gb microSD in mine.

-Auto rotate doesn't work all the time; this is a known problem with this phone

I was disappointed with this phone. I bought a year ago and I feel very sorry. phone screen is easily damaged. This phone system is also not good. Asus should have to think of other ways to improve the system's phone

Excellent phone...great features for a really good price if you compare it to the latest Smartphones. It's up there with them...can recommend this phone to anyone who wants a good all rounder that looks and feels good..and is dual sim!
