I had seen the recent television ads for portable scanners and checked Office Depot online to see if they had similar products. I purchased the Brother handheld (based on the reviews) and am delighted with the product.

scanner breaksdown if used ongoing for more than 30 minutes. lines come across picture, requires too much cleaning if used to scan more than 10 pages. not a good buy. needs improvement in the function, it comes back saying printer not plugged in.

This mobile scanner is small, cheap and well suited to life on the road.

If you are someone who works in the field or on the go. I can't imagine anything better.

Good scanner, Very hard to setup on Windows 7. Purchased to install on a PC running Windows 7, didn't work, tried about 5 times and then called Brother and the rep. TRIED to help me install, changed all the settings, etc. Couldn't be installed.

Very Happy with DSmobile 600. Although, the software could use a "little" improvement. After several calls to the software company, they were able to help me out. Wish the software would be able to keep a running account of receipts. All in all a very good piece of equipment.
