Canon CanoScan LiDE 210 Flatbed Scanner

Purchased as old Canonscan LiDE 25, although downloaded drivers for Windows 7 kept refusing to work every so often. Appears to be an excellent replacement.

A slim, trim scanner that nicely gets the job done

Flatbed scanners have come a long way. This one is a fraction of the size of one I had before. It's USB powered. It's by Canon. And the price is great.

quite adequate for my need.

I have only used the unit a few times and I am satisfied so far. I have had a Canon D6660U for many years which had a lot of use. With the virtual demise of XP,I updated to 8.1 which forced me buy a compatible scanner. AS I have Canon printer a Canon scanner as logical choice Regards Bob

It is a Christmas gift and and glad it arrived way in time. You were also the cheapest as it included delivery which is the best.

Canon CanoScan LiDE 210 Flatbed Scanner

For the best performance at an incredible budget price, this scanner just can't be beat. It comes in at just about $90 retail, which makes it one of the least expensive models on the market. It also happens to have terrific performance, with image resolution up to 4800dpi.

Great Scanner for the price

We needed a stand alone scanner for work to compliment an aging printer. This product fit the bill perfectly. It is affordable, easy to set up, and easy to use. Plus Canon is a name you can trust.

Canon CanoScan LiDE 210

Flatbed scanners cover the full range of scanning needs, from single-page SOHO devices to high quality photo scanners and high throughput archival scanners. Canon's CanoScan range is aimed at consumers and the LiDE 210 is a little above its entry-level offerings.

Quick and generally above-average scans; ScanGear is effective scanner applet; Easy multi-page PDF creation

Very basic OCR; Trouble resolving black and white test pattern; Dust/scratch removal only passable

Nice, Small Scanner

I'd say buy this scanner if you do nothing more than documents and possibly a few photos. There is no need to buy a scanner with all the bells and whistles unless they are needed.

This scanner is nice and sleek and will fit in nicely in cramped quarters; It also makes great scans

The install CD does not have divers for Windows7, 32 or 64 bit; I learned this by putting it on an older computer just to check it out while waiting for a new computer; I had to contact Canon about it and they promptly gave me a reply with how to download the drivers.
