Best product, best price

I had a Canon 5080 for a decade, weighed 75 pounds and did the same thing except it could feed 500 pages. Now there was a business machine! I use this one to scan legal records and it meets my needs. Have had less luck scanning photos, very difficult to adjust gamma and color on the fly.

This has all the features of the more expensive models except a relatively small feeder (about 100 sheets); Comes with multiple software packages including Capio VRS and Adobe 9 basic; Easy setup; Hardware manual simple; Designed so user can replace rollers that wear the most.

We use these for heavier duty scanning and our users have been very pleased. They scan quickly and without jams with clean images. Some of our users have used this scanner over a year. We have not yet set these up with a Win7 Machine, however, on XP machines it's a trouble free install.
