Love this lens I used it for 1 year now and it still works like new. The zoom lock feature and the placement of the switch is a very well thought out design feature. cons: it is a little on the heavy side. But balances well with any body.

I owned this lense before. Unfortunately, the barrel should be locked while in carrying mode. Otherwise can be fragile fully extended.

A lens this versatile will always have shortcomings but there are few. That stunning 18-200mm zoom range means this lens stays on the camera body almost all the time and if a situation calls for taking minimal gear, this is the lens that has the fun.

I bought this to have a single lens I could travel with or to have my assistant use at weddings and it does OK in those regards. It is built horribly though.
