Decent All Rounder and Travel Lens

"Covering 18mm to 200mm provides a huge amount of versatility with this lens. If you need to travel light and can only bring one lens, this might be perfect for you because it was for me.

Awesome.

Great lens, awesome Wide Angle & Zoom! Perfect all round lens. Smifu is definitely the cheapest place by far as I did tons of research before I brought it. It also got delivered in 48hours!

pretty good

This was the kit lens I got with my 60D. I loved it at first but after a few months started to be unimpressed with its sharpness. It is not a bad lens just not great. I would have been disappointed if I paid retail price for it.

Great zoom range, multi purpose lens; will do most anything a beginner photographer would want to do

zoom creeps really really bad I have to keep my hand on the zoom ring to stop it from moving while shooting; May be my lens though as it has got a lot looser since I first started using it; If I point it at the ground it falls down to about 170mm; quite soft, can be slow to focus in lower light

Canon 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6 EF-S IS AF

A 29-320mm equivalent on APS-C Canon EOS models, this lens ($700, street) boasts the broadest zoom range of any interchangeable optic from Canon to date: 11X. A high-end kit option for EOS 50D owners, it probably owes its existence to the phenomenal success of Nikon's 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6 VR Nikkor.

Reseobjektiv

Convenience costs....

No lens in this catagory is perfect, you have to accept each lens shortcomings...this lens works best with the canon auto focus system hands down, tamron and others take forever to focus and often frustrate. While not perfect...clearly works better than others.

Consistent Output; Fast / accurate auto-focus

Heavy; Lens Creep

Meets my expectations with ease. Loving it.

Solid; it has a stabilization feature; allows a degree of freedom; quick response time and the focus is quick too

No issues
