I bought my 550D with the twin lense kit which included a 18-55 and a 55-200. I only ever used the 18-55 but then 12 months ago I bought the 18-200 lense! It is much more versatile and the 18-200 lense travelled with me all through the US and UK on a two month journey and performed wonderfully.

Got this lens, because I needed a wider zoom range offered with standard lens, and rather pay for the std lens and buy separate zoom lens, decided to save money and just buy camera body and this lens.

Fantastic Purchase. Great value for money. Always have on the body, no need to constantly change lenses. Would highly recommend, as an all round lense.
