Canon EOS Digital Rebel T3 SLR

Paired with the announcement of the Canon EOS Digital Rebel T3i, Canon also announced details around the launch of the EOS Rebel T3 Digital SLR, their secondary Rebel camera ideal for amateur photographers just getting their start with dSLR cameras.

Awesome deal on top quality products!

I ordered this product and it arrived in two days. I am a graphic design student at San Diego State University and needed a camera to shoot projects I have designed to put into a portfolio. I also needed a cannon pro 9000 printer to print my portfolio on.

Easy To Use; Fast / Accurate Auto-Focus; Fast Shutter Speed; Good Image Quality; Good Image Stabilization; High ISO Performance; Large Clear LCD; Quiet; Tilt /Swivel LCD

Canon Rebel T3 (EOS 1100D) Review

These days it's hard to tell the entry level cameras apart from the fully geared up models. The Canon Rebel T3 (EOS 1100D) sits between the EOS 1000D and EOS 550D models, looking and feeling like any Canon DSLR, from the lofty 5D Mark II all the way down.

Excellent camera - but see details!

A fine entry level DSLR camera. Gives superb pictures, easy to use, but has plenty of more sophisticated features too. Canon doing what Canon do best. However, the first one was faulty - it came up with a software error message after every shot. But that's why I bought it from John Lewis!

If you are new to photography or are looking to enter the DSLR market for the first time then the 1100D is ideal.

simple; in-built flash; lightweight

not very durable; cheap feeling plastic; iso/shutter speed limited

Better picture quality and color than Nikon

I don't know what to say exactly but one thing that is helpful is that the pictures like color and quality are better than the Nikons pictures.

Easy to Use; Fast Shutter Speed; Great Resolution; Good in Low Light; Good Battery Life

Great camera

Purchased this as my first dslr and have been very pleased. I bought this model over other higher models mainly because I didnt require those better features. I accomplished what I wanted with this camera and it exceeded my expectations.

Canon EOS 1100D review

This 12.2-megapixel DSLR upgrades the 1000D and slots in at the start of the EOS range, where it does battle with Nikon's equally beginner-friendly D3100. As this is supposed to be Canon's most affordable DSLR, it unsurprisingly features a plastic, grey outer shell which makes it appear a little toy...

Affordable; simple to use; long 700-shot battery life; crammed with auto and manual shooting options; one-touch HD video recording and HDMI output

Plasticky and a tad bulky; manual focusing required when shooting video Price: £419 body only or £499 with 18-55mm zoom lens
