Putting things into perspective, for a camera that is aimed at the entry-level user the Canon EOS 1100D delivers where it is most important, and that's in image quality. The 12MP sensor may lack the resolution of the bigger models but this DSLR has been designed to keep things simple, with the...

Canon EOS 1100D

The Canon EOS 1100D offers a great way for beginners to get into the world of digital-SLR photography, without needing to sell a lung. Its build quality could be better, though.

Looks disappointingly cheap

This camera knows a lot more than I do!!

I particularly enjoy the quick response for the next picture to be taken. We have bald eagles that nest along our coastline and I like to get multiple pictures of them taking flight or landing.

Easy To Use; Fast / Accurate Auto-Focus; Good Image Quality

Short Battery Life

Great camera and great price!

I bought this during the December sale. Got a great deal from Amazon. Plus free shipping is a bonus. Amazon said that the delivery will on 5-7 days, but I got the delivery in 2 days, Pros: The camera itself is great and easy to use. Though it is a beginners camers, it does not lack in features.

The Canon EOS 1100D is well worth a look for users wanting to step up to the digital SLR market. It's affordable, offers a good range of features and is easily capable of shooting amazing photographs.

The design of the Canon EOS 1100D is firmly evolution rather than revolution, and it looks very similar to the EOS 1000D, EOS 550D and EOS 500D that came before it; This is actually a good thing, as it's one of the neater looking DSLRs on the market.

The biggest disappointment with the Canon EOS 1100D is the small 2.7-inch screen on the back; It looks slightly cheap in comparison with its more expensive siblings – all of which offer larger screens – although it does help to keep the price down.

Canon EOS Rebel T3 / 1100D

The Canon T3/1100D entered life as an entry-level DSLR with basic features including an entry-level basic feature that everyone can love - a low price . That feature, low price, is indeed the primary reason to buy this DSLR over the rest of the Canon EOS DSLRs - including the announced at the same...

The Rebel T3 is Canon's replacement for its successful entry-level DSLR camera, the . The T3 has been a long time coming in digital photography terms. It doesn't offer much in the way of surprises, but it's a compact and easy-to-use DSLR that should appeal to anyone looking to make his or her first...

I picked up a used T3 on you know whos list for $200.00. It had 1007 shutter actuation's and looked and performed like new. I currently us a DMC g5 Lumix MFT 16mp and really like that one. I had recently sold a d5100 Nikon. I had read the T3 was a beginners SLR. I must disagree.
