Canon 60D DSLR with 18-135mm IS Lens Bundle

I bought one of these two years ago, and all I can say is that it is a loyal and reliable beast. I've made it work way too hard and it is still going strong. I've subjected it to rain, gravity, heat, and general abuse and it still looks and acts like it did when I got it.

A brilliant camera, gives high quality pictures with ease.

The 60D is a great camera, gives great results even for the amateur. I am sold on the ability to connect to the computer and use macro setings to photograph documents with ease whilst using the computer screen.

Easy to use; Build quality; Battery life; Screen size

Canon 60D body

This is a very well made Canon body and is user friendly. Unit focuses fast, has a large and bright viewfinder. Settings and menues are easy to fiind and use. Body feels comfortable in your hands and balances well with all lenses (lenses not having a tripod collar).

A perfect DSLR camera to capture those special moments

I was looking for a good DSLR camera at an affordable price and then one of my friend suggested me this. Going through the features it offered I was completely in love with it and bought it almost instantly. It has basically everything I was looking for in my DSLR camera.

Didn't come with the flash

So far I like this camera- I am new to the type of camera so I won't have the best review for the people looking for details.[...]. The deal itself is nice. I love the backpack and I like the it came with dvd's and books on how to use it.

An excellent product for the investment!

We are professional photographers who photograph over 20,000 children per year. We have used our Canon 40D cameras for more than 5 years and they have not let us down. We recently upgraded to the 60Ds, which so far have proven easier to navigate, less likely to change the shooting mode by mistake,...

Canon 60D

Canon's latest enthusiast digital SLR draws from many different cameras in Canon's lineup, from the Canon G12, with its swivel screen, to the 5D Mark II, with its fairly advanced video functionality. Though the controls have changed a bit, I still found the Canon 60D very familiar.

Excellent 18-megapixel sensor with superb detail; Very good high ISO performance; especially for 18-megapixel subframe sensor; 3.0-inch; 1,040K-dot Vari-angle LCD is very useful for video and Live View; Quick Menu system; The usual Canon enhancements: HTP; ALO; Lens Peripheral Illumination; Sharp...

Body probably not as rugged as mag-alloy 50D, AF assist only works when flash is up, though flash can be forced off, Auto-exposure not reliable in very low light, No in-camera image stabilization (lens based, 18-135mm kit lens has noticeable chromatic aberration and geometric distortion; also...

One superb camera

I have been using this camera with 18-135 lens for almost 3 years now. It gives excellent image quality. Though the build is plastic it has been very sturdy. Having been taking great pictures with this camera.

Canon EOS 60D Review

Now is the time to see the Canon EOS 60D in action and assess its strengths and weaknesses. Let's start from what, in our view, is the main shortcoming in this model. We are talking about the Auto focus Live View is used when you cannot reach the freezing point in a short time, and this could lose...

Image quality; Handling; definition of the display

Slow AF Live View mode; Post-production impractical

Great Value For Money

I sold my Mark II and bought the 60D when it came out to be able to purchase nicer glass. I purchased the 24-105 and it works perfectly with the 60D. I love the live features to be able to get the perfect lighting before shooting a scene.

good battery life; quiet; Nice features/settings; Quick Start-up time; excellent image quality; Bright LCD; Solid Operation; Lightweight/Portable; Simple controls/menu; easy to use

medium build quality
