Fantastic Camera for Sport and Wildlife

This is a seriously good camera. It is ideal for sports and wildlife and the autofocus is awesome. Took pics of a dog running towards me and in 2 seconds the 20 plus pics were all in focus. Reassuringly heavy, new sensor, 10 frames per second, all make this a great camera.

10 Frames Per Second; 64 Cross Point Autofocus; Bright LCD; Cf Slot; Comfortable Controls; Crop Sensor F Lngh X 16; Customisable Controls; Easy To Use; Exposure Bracketing Funct; Fast Shutter Speed; Gps; Great Image Quality; High Iso Capability; Sd Slot; Strong Construction; Video 1080p; Weather...

Crop Sensor; Eos 5d Mk 3 Not Much More; No Articulating Screen; Price High

Canon EOS 7D Mark II review

Canon has made another fine all-round enthusiast DSLR, but it's not mind-blowing on the tech front

Good all-round performance; Fast; accurate autofocus; Weatherproof and rugged

A little pricy; Doesn't "push the envelope" tech-wise

Canon EOS 7D Mark II

After publishing a detailed Canon EOS 7D Mark II First Look in September, we have now received a production unit. It was supplied with the EF-S 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS STM lens , which we reviewed in July 2012.

Canon EOS 7D Mark II review

There are various ways to appraise the 7D Mark II, but none of them compels us to give it an unreserved recommendation. Compared to the original 7D, its autofocus sensor is significantly improved, it's a little faster in continuous mode and much faster in live view mode, it has GPS, interval...

Canon EOS 7D Mark II DSLR Review

Released in 2009, the original Canon EOS 7D has become a firm favourite APS-C Digital SLR, and impressively has lasted well for a 5 year old camera, a testament to how popular the camera is.

10fps continuous shooting - max 9.5fps with C-AF; Improved noise performance compared to 70D; Tough weather-sealed magnesium alloy body; Quick live view shutter response and focus speeds; Dual axis electronic level; 65 cross-type AF points; USB3.0 socket; 100% viewfinder coverage; GPS built-in,...

High Price; Does not feature Wi-Fi; Images can appear soft straight from the camera; Separate port covers would be good to help weather sealing; Tilting screen would be a benefit for video

Canon EOS 7D Mark II Review

Great review! Thanks for sharing. Is it possible to "rack" the autofocus between to pre-determined points by pressing a button? Thanks! ~Adam I think that is a C100 feature. Thanks! I actually have a Sony RX10 II now and it's really an amazing camera.

Canon EOS 7D Mark II Review

I expected that the 7D II would be greeted with high demand (and it was), but that prediction was not hard to make. "Building on the class-leading performance of the iconic EOS 7D, and harnessing technologies found in the flagship, professional EOS-1D X ...

Canon EOS 7D Mark II

10 Shots per second. Great camera for the sports shooter. 63 focus points. Can really turn up the ISO if needed. Dual card slots available on body. (CF & SD).

Canon EOS 7D Mark II Review

The Canon 7D Mark II offers good image quality, excellent performance and a solid design at a good price. It's a great option for budget-conscious photographers who are already invested in Canon's ecosystem of lenses and accessories.

This camera has many more cross-type focus points than anything else we reviewed

Low-light performance suffers as a result of this camera's small APS-C sensor
