This is an extremely powerful but compact scanner. Purchased primarily for multi sheet capability. Full marks Epson on this machine

It was originally suggested that I purchase this or the DS-560 when I bought my DS-40 and I didn't want to spend the money. The little one is great for a page or two here and there, but the sales associate was absolutely correct.

Just installed scanner. Everything fine EXCEPT it reads one page, then shows a blank page, and so on thruout the scan. How can I correct or elinate this happening?

I purchased this scanner to be able to scan double sided documents to PDF with the option to use OCR. This scanner is fast with simple software to allow you to ignore blank pages and auto correction for pages that aren't straight in the feeder.

this was a replacement to a flatbead Epson...this one is MUCH faster!!

The DS-510 Scanner is fast!! Fast!!! I particularly like the ability to scan both sides at the same time. Directing the files to the right folder is a bit slow and tedious. Also, I own three other multiply use Epson printers/Scanner, etc.

Yes, I would and did recommend the scanner. To my knowledge, 4 more people have purchased this scanner on my recommendation. Please include software equal to the excellence of the scanner.

I hadused ScanSnap for 4 years, and was convinced to buy this scanner when I started my business from home last summer. I am now on my THIRD replacement scanner from Epson and each one has lasted for a MAX 3 months before giving marked up scans. I am NOT hard on my equipment and take care of it.

Once very expensive, high speed document scanners are now a lot more affordable due, mainly, to competition between vendors. Speeds and specifications have also risen across the board making it even harder to choose between the various offerings.
