Fitbit Alta HR In-Depth Review

For most people, the Fitbit Alta HR pick up doing what Fitbits of the past have done: Being a perfectly capable activity tracker. With the porting of Fitbit's optical HR technology into the Alta series, they've expanded the number of wearables they have with wrist-based heart rate technology, and in...

Love my fit bit!

It's small, easy to use, and the battery holds for a great amount of time. I also like how this is a thinner model because you're able to use bracelets on the same arm as the watch.

Excellent product

Purchased this Fitbit online for my wife from Harvey Norman about a month ago. She loves it, all the features you could ask for. Lasts for approx a week between charges and looks good too.

Fitbit Alta HR Quick Review

With the growing number of fitness trackers in the market, Fitbit's latest offering is a commendable wearable due to its size and number of features. It does lack GPS but Fitbit has a different tracker for that.

Slim and light; Includes heart rate sensor; Long battery life; Amazing companion app

The Fitbit Alta HR is the first product that we've reviewed in a while that does exactly what its marketing material says it does, and holds no surprises beyond that. But is that such a bad thing? The Alta HR looks and feels very familiar to past offerings from the company.

Fitbit Alta HR review

The Fitbit Alta HR is a return to the company's strongest suit, with a focus on sleep, wellbeing and heart health rather than all-out fitness. The improved sleep stats are a big step forward, although will require time and perseverance to really kick in with insightful stats.

Slim design; Custom straps galore; Good sleep insights; Heart rate monitor

Heart rate sensor not up to intense workouts; No breathing training; Screen a tad unresponsive; Poor notifications

Fitbit Alta

The Fitbit Alta is one of the best fitness trackers for all-day use. It's slim and lightweight, and the touchscreen is easy to read. It was also one of the most accurate fitness trackers during our tests.

The Alta has smartwatch and fitness features packed into its small design; which makes it more conducive to hardcore exercise than a heavier watch

The battery only lasts for about five days; To extend the battery life, you have to turn off helpful features like Bluetooth and notifications

In fact, the Fitbit Alta HR is the world's slimmest exercise band with a built-in heart rate sensor. On the design side, the Fitbit altar HR is virtually identical to the previous model.

Love my Fitbit Alta

I was given one for Christmas and I love it! Only problem with these fitbits is the bands tend to come loose or undone. I lost my fitbit because of this, I would definitely recommend getting a one of the other bands that actually has a clasp.

Fitbit Alta HR

Just like Tony Stark (aka Iron Man) updates his armour, so does Fitbit and this time it's the Alta's turn. All kidding aside, the Fitbit Alta HR is a smart activity tracker that also acts as a personal trainer and unlike its predecessor, this new model includes the much needed PurePulse Heart Rate...
