This is my 3rd upgrade in two years. I started with the Flex, then got the Charge, and finally this. This was much sleeker, and imho, more stylish. I liked that you can change the bands as the Charge was a fixed band. I am debating the bracelet band once it comes out.
I've had the Fitbit Alta for about a month now. I love it! I love knowing how many steps I've taken and it is always a challenge to be better than the day before. When I was shopping around for a Fitbit, I was debating getting the Alta or the Blaze.

Tells time, lets me know when I receive texts, phone calls and syncs with my phone well. It does what I want it to and I have had no issues with it. It does not do heartbeat but I don't care too much one way or another on that feature.
