Fujifilm X-A7 Mirrorless Camera with 15-45mm & 50-230mm Lenses FUJIX-A715-45/50-230 review

The X-A7 maybe Fujifilm’s most entry-level camera but it still looks good and has nice build quality. Rather than the tradition exposure controls found on Fujifilm cameras like the X-T3, X-T30 and X-Pro3, the X-A7 has a mode dial on its top-plate and dual adjustment dials.

Good build quality for the price; Excellent image quality and attractive colours; Vari-angle touchscreen

No viewfinder; Kit lens power zoom isn't very responsive; No dedicated Quick menu button

Fujifilm X-A7 review

The X-A7 has some pretty impressive specs for an entry-level camera, and has the performance to match, with a significant improvement to the camera’s autofocus performance over its predecessor. Image quality is exceptional and 4K video capabilities have also been upgraded, making this compact, lightweight snapper an ideal traveling companion.

Superb autofocus performance; Excellent image quality; Large, high-res LCD display; Sleek and stylish design;

Clunky touch interface; No built-in stabilization; No viewfinder

Fujifilm X-A7 review

The X-A7 is a small, affordable mirrorless camera whose interface makes it easy and enjoyable to use.

Selfies, video and learning photography;

Composing shots in bright light (where a viewfinder helps);

Fujifilm X-A7 hands-on review: A classic in a modern world

The Fujifilm X-A7 feels stuck between two worlds. Fujifilm is trying to balance old-school appeal with modern convenience, and it’s a bit of struggle. On one hand, this is a mirrorless camera with a very good 24-megapixel APS-C sensor, nice physical controls, and, of course, compatibility with Fujifilm’s excellent XF lens lineup. On the other, it’s trying to win over would-be phone photographers with a large, 3.5-inch flip-out touchscreen and some built-in creative shooting modes. It doesn’t fully succeed at either. I’m OK with that, but you may not be, depending on what you want out of a camera. As an entry-level mirrorless camera, the X-A7 is great. It runs circles around the X-A5 thanks to a much better autofocus system and improved 4K video mode. If you need a good camera for travel and family photos, it’s a solid choice. With no built-in viewfinder, you’ll rely on the X-A7’s fully articulating LCD screen to frame your shots. Fortunately, it’s one of the best on any camera in this ...

Great design; Large, high-res touchscreen; Much improved autofocus; Sturdy controls; 4K/30p and 24p video;

Touch interface needs work; No internal stabilization;
