Fujinon XF 18mm f/2 R

It's construction is good and so is it's size. But it's probably the worst Fuji lens when it comes to image quality. Corners are soft even stopped down and the lens suffers form field curvature.

Fujifilm Fujinon XF 18mm F2 R Review

The Fujifilm Fujinon XF 18mm F2 R ($599) isn't a new lens. It was one of the first available with the X-Pro1, and is still available close to six years later. Using it detracts from the pancake nature of the lens, but protects the front element from picking up stray fingerprints, improves contrast, and reduces the possibility of flare. If you wan...

The Fujifilm Fujinon XF 18mm F2 R is showing its age, but is still a good choice for X shooters who prefer lightweight lenses.

Light and compact; Wide angle coverage; Opens up to f/2; Very little vignette

Omits dust and splash protection; Weak edge performance, even when stopped down; Focus hunts in AF-C
