Fujifilm Fujinon XF 23mm F1.4 R

The Fujifilm Fujinon XF 23mm F1.4 R ($899.99) is a wide-aperture prime lens for Fuji X cameras that covers a classic 35mm field of view in full-frame terms. Its f/1.4 f-stop means that it can capture a heck of a lot of light, and also create a shallow depth of field.

Sharp from edge to edge at f/1.4; Minimal distortion; Manual focus clutch; Aperture ring

Lacks stabilization and weather sealing; Pricey

Fujifilm XF Fujinon 23mm f/1.4 R Lens Review

Sporting the same field of view as a 35mm lens does on a 35mm camera, this lens should be a popular choice for the wish list of many Fuji X-series camera owners, especially with that fast f/1.4 maximum aperture.

Extremely sharp stopped down; Very good sharpness in the centre at maximum aperture; Lightweight; Useful hyperfocal scale; Excellent build

Not as sharp towards the edges of the frame at maximum aperture as you may expect

Fujifilm XF 23mm F1.4 R

The Fujifilm XF 23mm F1.4 R offers a classic focal length and an ultra-fast aperture, making it well-suited to street and reportage photography. Optically it's also a great lens in its own right, with virtually nothing to complain about apart from the price.

Fujifilm Fujinon XF 23mm F1.4 R Review

The Fujifilm Fujinon XF 23mm F1.4 R ($889) is a lens for photographers who crave images with a shallow depth of field, as well as those who want to gather the most light possible for sharper photos in dim conditions. It captures sharp images, even when paired with a modern 24MP image sensor, and has a focus clutch for photographers who prefer manual focus. It's not weather sealed, like Fujifilm's less expensive, smaller Fujinon XF 23mm F2 R WR, but an f/2 doesn't quite blur out backgrounds like an f/1.4. Both editions of the XF 23mm earn our Editors' Choice—the 23mm F2 for budget-minded, outdoor photographers who value a light design and weather sealing, and the 23mm F1.4 for those who crave the most background blur. Design: Real, Physical Controls The XF 23mm F1.4 R ($899.00 at Amazon) is one of the larger prime lenses for the X mirrorless system. It measures 2.8 by 2.5 inches (HW), weighs 10.6 ounces, and supports 62mm front filters. It's certainly bigger than the XF 23mm F2 (2....

The Fujifilm Fujinon XF 23mm F1.4 R lens combines strong optical performance with a bright f/1.4 maximum aperture.

Crisp optics; Bright maximum aperture; Quick autofocus; Pleasant manual focus experience; Aperture control ring

Omits stabilization; Not weather sealed; Pricey

Fujinon XF 23mm f/1.4 R Lens

While Fujifilm's XF 27mm f/2.8 pancake prime lens is optimised for minimum size and weight, the new XF 23mm f/1.4 R lens is optimised for performance. So it's no surprise this lens is much larger and bulkier, especially with the lens hood attached.

FUJIFILM XF 23mm f/1.4 R Lens - Brand New review

More like an iPhone 13S. The generational upgrades for the iPhone 14 are limited to a few subtle changes. At the same time, however, the base price climbs to 800 USD, while the only true innovation happens inside the iPhone 14 Pro series.

excellent OLED display, dust- and waterproof, fast Wi-Fi, wide range of supported frequencies, great camera, very fast performance, good battery life

display limited to 60 Hz, charging rate limited to 20 watts, no macro lens, wide notch

Sweet Little Lens

I just purchase the Fuji X-T2 with this lens, and I am blown away by its sharpness. Here is an image I shot handheld 23mm, F2.0, 800 ISO, 1/40 second on the X-T2. The image has edge to edge sharpness. Its just as good as my Canon L lenses for much less money.

Fujifilm Fujinon XF 50mm f/2 R WR

I am a fuji shooter, although I love my G85 for other reasons. I have several fuji primes but the 56 1.2 most buy is most likely my choice if the prices were the same however my personal opinion is that the 50mm f2 gives a more ageless bokeh.

Fujinon XF 23mm f/1.4 R (Fujifilm) - Review / Test Report

The Fujinon XF 23mm f/1.4 R is a highly attractive addition to the Fujifilm lens lineup. It combines an ultra-large aperture with high quality results. At large aperture settings the center quality is already pretty high whereas the borders/corners are at least on a good level.

Fujifilm XF 50mm f/2 R WR review

+ Small and practical to carry; + Lightweight; + Robustly made; + Satisfying to use; + Delivers great results

More expensive than the XF 23mm f/2 R WR and XF 35mm f/2 WR; Bokeh isn't as dreamy as the XF 56mm f/1.2 R or XF 56mm f/1.2 APD ASPH
