Although this wasn't a lens that I was in real need of - I already had a 35mm f1.4, but because I've heard so many rave reviews of this lens I decided to give it a go. I can confirm that this lens is absolutely superb on my X-T1.
Manufacturer: Fujifilm

While it's a shame that picture and sound quality haven't been upgraded, the iPhone 13 was great in these regards and the iPhone 14 is, too Excellent display Admirable headphone performance Solid build quality No upgrades to picture or sound Familiar design Notch is still present
Apple's latest non-Pro iPhone is superb - it's just that it's strikingly similar to last year's effort.
Still an incredible smartphone, Brilliant battery life gets a bit better, Excellent camera system gets a bit better
Last year’s Pro hardware, Wireless charging slow by modern standards, No USB-C; it’s now well overdue
The Fujifilm Fujinon XF 23mm F1.4 R ($899.99) is a wide-aperture prime lens for Fuji X cameras that covers a classic 35mm field of view in full-frame terms. Its f/1.4 f-stop means that it can capture a heck of a lot of light, and also create a shallow depth of field.
Sharp from edge to edge at f/1.4; Minimal distortion; Manual focus clutch; Aperture ring
Lacks stabilization and weather sealing; Pricey
The Fujifilm XF 35mm F2 R WR offers a classic standard focal length, fast maximum aperture and weather-proofing in a small, discrete package, making it well-suited to street, reportage and low-light photography in any conditions when paired with a similarly weather-proof body.
The Fujinon XF 35mm F2 R WR ($399.95) is the second 35mm prime for Fujifilm's mirrorless camera system. It's smaller and less expensive than the 35mm f/1.4 that launched with the system, and adds weather sealing to boot. It doesn't capture as much light as an f/1.4 prime, but the XF 35mm F2 is an optical gem, even when shot wide open. If you've got a Fuji X camera and are in the market for a standard-angle prime lens, it doesn't get much better than this one. It's an easy pick for Editors' Choice honors. DesignThe XF 35mm F2 is a small lens, even by mirrorless standards. It measures 1.8 by 2.4 inches (HD), weighs just 6 ounces, and supports 43mm front filters. A lens hood is included. It screws into the filter thread, so you will have to unscrew it to add or remove a filter. That's not a huge deal, and there is a bayonet mount around the outside of the lens. It's not out yet, but Fujifilm is releasing a metal hood that will mount on the bayonet, which will give you ready access to...
The Fujifilm Fujinon XF 35mm F2 R WR is compact, sharp, and sealed against dust and moisture. It's a terrific lens for the price.
Compact; Superb optics; Weather-sealed design; Aperture ring; Inexpensive
Omits optical stabilization; Must remove hood to change filters
Because it covers a ‘normal’ visual perspective and is relatively affordable for a medium format lens, the GF 63mm f/2.8 R WR is likely to be one of the first lenses chosen when photographers buy into Fujifilm’s medium format system.
More like an iPhone 13S. The generational upgrades for the iPhone 14 are limited to a few subtle changes. At the same time, however, the base price climbs to 800 USD, while the only true innovation happens inside the iPhone 14 Pro series.
excellent OLED display, dust- and waterproof, fast Wi-Fi, wide range of supported frequencies, great camera, very fast performance, good battery life
display limited to 60 Hz, charging rate limited to 20 watts, no macro lens, wide notch
The Fujinon XF 23mm f/1.4 R is a highly attractive addition to the Fujifilm lens lineup. It combines an ultra-large aperture with high quality results. At large aperture settings the center quality is already pretty high whereas the borders/corners are at least on a good level.
+ Small and practical to carry; + Lightweight; + Robustly made; + Satisfying to use; + Delivers great results
More expensive than the XF 23mm f/2 R WR and XF 35mm f/2 WR; Bokeh isn't as dreamy as the XF 56mm f/1.2 R or XF 56mm f/1.2 APD ASPH
