The Pixel XL beats out all comers in the 5.5″ or larger smartphone category, but at a high price tag. Buy it if you want the best Android smartphone in creation. For those looking for a budget model, try the OnePlus 3 $170 Nextbit Robin.
Google’s Android Smartphone, the Pixel XL, has been specially designed by the search engine giant to accommodate their newest OS versions. It runs Nougat like a pro as well as earlier versions of Android’s operating system. Google didn’t hold back on the aesthetics either. The design of these phones really highlights the brilliantly crisp touchscreen with elegant colour options. Choose between ‘quite black’, ‘very silver’ and ‘really blue’ depending on your preferences.
The quad-core CPU along with the Adreno 530 make operating your Google Pixel fast & simple. 2GB RAM will also keep your apps running smoothly. You’ll also get an onboard memory of 32GB for storage (this is not upgradeable, but larger onboard memory versions of the phone are available). The motivation behind this Smartphone was to introduce Android users to their latest version 7.1 (aka Nougat), which is now available for upgrading other Android-compatible phones. However, Google wanted this particular phone to highlight the advancement of their operating system—and they’ve succeeded!
Google have not forgotten about camera functionality on the Google Pixel XL. The 12.3MP camera with dual-LED flash will make your photos crisp & clear, boasting a high resolution for close shots and distant ones. The video recording function also delivers high resolution depending on your settings. Choose between 2160p@30fps, 1080p@30/60/120fps and 720p@240fps. With these great features, there’s no reason to be sceptical about Google’s new phone. They clearly know what they are doing.

Fast camera that takes quality snaps; As slick and streamlined as Android gets;
Only average battery life; Marmite school of design; No standout features;
The Google Pixel is a fantastic phone with a brilliant camera, but increasing competition means its days may be numbered
The Google Pixel and Pixel XL lack waterproofing and the outstanding battery lives of the Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge – and unlike Nexus phones, they're no longer bargains. But overall, the new Google handsets are excellent premium phones, offering a great screen, good performance and battery...
The Google Pixel XL is a very good smartphone. However, its core feature, the Google Assistant, is not a decisive reason to buy it. Above all, it does not justify the price which the manufacturer charges for its product.
good display, high-end build quality, LTE Cat; 11, fast WiFi, excellent voice quality, great cameras, low SAR values
no Dual-SIM; no microSD support; PWM; SoC throttling
There's no doubt that if you want the Pixel or the Pixel XL, you'll definitely be paying a premium for having access to Google's latest experience. The question you're probably asking right now is – should you buy either?
Google Assistant is fantastic Excellent camera with HDR+ and ES Lighting fast experience Above average battery life Above average speaker performance Great display Pixel Launcher is one of the best interfaces
Generic; understated design Easily chipped and dented Lack of OIS can affect videos High price tag
Let's make it official: the Google Pixel XL is the best high-end, super-sized phone on the market. Like its very similar, though smaller and less expensive Pixel sibling, the Pixel XL brings together premium performance, aesthetics, and ergonomics better than any other phone in its class.
Get Google's fantastic Pixel XL if you can cough up the cash and simply want more pure Android goodness on a bigger screen.
The beautifully designed Google Pixel XL features a superb camera; an expansive display and the robust Google Assistant.
The XL is Google's priciest phone yet; The camera Lens Blur feature needs improvement and it's not as water resistant as its top-tier rivals.
The Google Pixel XL is an all-around great device with a very good display that currently offers the best camera image quality in smartphones. It lacks the dual-cams and "zooming-capabilities" of some of its rivals, but if image quality is your number one priority you can't go wrong with the Pixel XL.
General shooting in all conditions;
Panoramas and lens blur images;
For years now, I've said the best Android phone would be an iPhone running the operating system. The Pixel XL finally delivers on that. Sure, it's a very similar design (people always ask me if it's the 7 Plus), but it's also a design that works.
Firstly i would like to request Everyone to ignore all the negative comments in here. I use every phone in real depth and i give all the feedbacks after the benchmark results of the devices. Comparing this device with iPhones is completely rubbish.
Best camera ever; Best Android phone; Great operating system; Great RAM management; Amazing display; Great battery backup; Strong device; Fastest Android experience ever
No front firing speakers; Lager down bezels
