Don't Waste Your Time

I'm becoming convinced that anytime a company like HP puts something on sale at Costco it's because the item is flawed. That's putting it lightly with this total piece of junk. From the moment you open the box and realize there are NO INSTRUCTIONS, it's an aggravating endeavor.

Low speed. No point spending so much for this scanner

Low speed. we can scanner on flat bed in little more time than this but cost is much more than flat bed scanner

Scanjet5590 and MS Vista

This machine is an excellent pieceof kit. However, if you are running Vista, you should not load the supplied software, unless HP are supplying a disk supporting Vista. My scanner stopped working after one use.
