Missing Piece (Maybe)

Great camera. Right of the bat, it had a great physical aesthetic, felt good in my hands. But as I started using it, it wouldn't stop getting better. It was amazing, and still is. I'm learning to use it better now, but I've noticed that in every video I watch about the Camera, there's a cover that's...

Best Buy and Great Pictures

This is an exceptional camera for the cost. I am still learning all of it's features, but find that even an inexperienced photographer can take great pictures with the D3400. I highly recommend going onto Nikon's web site and view some of the tutorial videos as they have given me a good start in...

Great features to make picture taking easy

Heard through the internet that the Smart Bridge technology wouldn't work with an IPhone; Still need to check this out; I don't think it is that important

Very Pleased with product

Extremely pleased with the performance of our new camera. We had a great experience with the sales/service rep at the Nikon counter ( Gerry ), he sorted out a problem with our older Nikon, that our camera specialist in LA was unable to resolve for years.

Great beginner camera

After much research, I settled on this camera to start working on building my photography skills. I found that it was very easy to learn the different features, and the instructions were very helpful once I started shooting in manual.

I have had this 18 months now. It was part of an insurance settlement that replace both my D50 (a gem) and D3100 (not the best to be honest) Although I am mainly a Pentax user, I have a small number of Ai lenses to go with my Nikon film bodies (hence the D50 for digital).

Nice deal.

Nice kit. The flash I got didnt work but thats not a issue for me. The camera and lens kits are very nice and the add on filters and lenses are fairly good quality. The battery and extra charger are a nice addition. Shipping was very fast and well packed.

Amazing entry level camera

Amazing camera, it can share pictures taken to your phone but it's via bluetooth so large pictures may take a while. Overall I would highly recommend it as it's easy to learn the features and the battery last much longer than expected.

"Nikon d3400"

The Nikon d3400 is a entry level dslr, an updated d3300 in essence aimed at novice users. First impressions are good guide mode for the novice users, if you just wanna shoot straight away along with automatic mode makes taking pictures out the box very easy.

Compact ,lightweight and good battery life

No touch screen
