Whilst Snake Pass has some highlights, it ultimately fails to connect gameplay and design in one cohesive experience.
It switches like magic! One second, you're using Nintendo Switch as a home console, and the next you're taking it with you as a portable system. It's totally awesome no matter which way you use it.
When used as a home console, the Nintendo Switch lets you play a great range of cool games in immersive HD. If you wish to use it in handheld mode, the experience is still pretty stunning thanks to a multi-touch capacitive touch screen which can display a resolution of 1280 x 720.
The Joy-Con controllers really give Nintendo Switch an edge on similar gaming devices. One of the best features is HD Rumble; imagine your Joy-Con is a glass. With HD rumble, you'll feel the difference as you add ice cubes and pour water into the glass. This sense of touch goes way beyond the normal vibrations you might have experienced in other controllers. Meanwhile the IR Motion Camera can detect shape, movement, and the distance of objects captured by the camera, adding an extra thrill to your gameplay.
Parental controls on Nintendo Switch allows you to manage how your family interacts with the device.
Excellent battery life means the fun can last for more than six hours, depending on software and usage conditions. For example, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild can be played for about three hours on one charge.
There's plenty of memory to play with here. 32GB of internal memory, while storage space can be extended by simply using microSDHC or microSDXC cards.

I got this for my daughter for Christmas and she loves it! We have used all that it comes with (minus the skin voucher - she didnt seem interested in that at all). The carry case is nice and sturdy, love that it comes with headphones as she is always misplacing hers, and the screen protector goes on...
Great family console Docked or Portable still great i say family conlsole because you and yoir family can just dock it the have a battle on Mario Kart 8 deluxe or you can just play arms or 1 2 switch with your family.even great for single players.
I'm going to go through a list of "complaints" I have heard about the switch 1. "There are no games for it" - Yep, that's quite valid. It has an awesome lineup and Zelda on it right now (which I have clocked over 100 hours in by now and still have so much I want to do) If game quantity is something...
This is a great console simply because it doesn't need to be attached to a TV all the time, as well as how much tech is packed into the console and the joy cons. I only wish more games were released on this
Best console I own. I would consider myself a enthusiastic gamer. I own a ps4, Xbox one and a gaming pc. But this is my favourite platform. I love how easy and user friendly it is, shame it doesn't have many games released. But what it does have it are great. I thoroughly recommend it .
The product is great and I love it. But there is one thing I can't support, these guys didn't send it with cushions so the console wasn't playing around, plus one of the tow bracelets was broken because of that.
Nintendo already had its eyes on making a TV-based games console portable when it released the Wii U back in 2012. Sadly, the lack of games, the extremely slow loading of games, and an even more irritatingly slow OS failed to catch on when compared to what the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 were doing...
It's hard not to review a brand new console against what you'd like it to be, rather than what it is, going on such little evidence. Nintendo make great games and once made great consoles, but of late have lost the pulse of the public.
In many ways, Nintendo Switch is what the Wii U should have been, and even reprises some of the best games in its catalogue. It's a better built machine, sporting higher grade materials, an innovative Joy-Con controller setup, and a gorgeous screen.
