Love it

Great camera. I little more complicated that the PEN EPL7 but I am going to take advantage of the "Have a Coffee With Olympus" deal that Teds Cameras offers and learn how to use all the bells and whistles properly.

Compact; Build quality; Screen size

Even better than the original

The body feels more sturdy than the original, and in particular the control buttons, knobs, levers, etc. give a greater sense of durability. The new higher resolution viewfinder is excellent, and the 5-axis IBIS system (in-body image stabilisation), which was already very good in the first...

Excellent pict. quality, fast accurate autofocus

I have lots of cameras and lenses (Nikon, Canon, Pentax, Fuji), this is my favourite one. Pro's: low noise at up to 1600 ISO, excellent body antishake system, fast & very accurate autofocus, very sharp pictures, light Cons: need a small TTL flash (waiting for Nissin i40 or similar), difficult to...

Olympus OM-D E-M5 Mark II review

Olympus took its sweet old time releasing an upgrade to its original OM-D E-M5, but as some philosopher probably once said, some things in life are worth waiting for. What we have here is a number of small, but significant, upgrades that make it tempting even for existing E-M5 owners.

Small; light and weatherproof; Large; bright viewfinder; Excellent image quality; 5-axis image stabilisation allows slow shutter speeds

No 4K video recording; High Res Shot only works in certain situations

Olympus OM-D E-M5 Mark II review

Three years ago Olympus turned the compact system camera market on its head with the launch of the OM-D E-M5. This enthusiast-oriented model packed a groundbreaking 5-axis image stabilisation system into its compact, weatherproof, and handsomely retro-styled body.

Excellent JPEG image quality; Fast; responsive operation; Robust; weather-resistant body; Almost all controls can be customised to suit the user

Complex menus are difficult to master; Connectors interfere with articulated screen; Raw image quality can't quite match larger sensor cameras

It''s Amazing

I'm selling my big Nikon camera and all the accessories. it's just too much weight to bear.the entire Olympus camera with lenses weighs less than 1 professional lens on the Nikon.

this camera is lightweight, clear and can compete with any full frame camera; The options are so incredible one would not believe it's all in this little camera; You have to see it try it to believe it

nothing so far

Great value micro four third camera

I originally purchased this camera in June. It,along with my lenses, was stolen whilst on holidays. It is so good I had to buy the EM5ii again. Highly customizable, weather proof, and fantastic image quality, either in RAW or the equally beautiful Super Fine JPEG files the Olympus can render.

Fab camera

Fab camera. Just rather disappointed that JL dropped the price by over £100 just after I bought it.
