All round, excellent phone!

I have always had a Samsung phone. But this has to be one of the best. Bought it in gold, love the colour. Great storage, takes great pics and straight forward to use (this helps when your not too good with technology)!! Would highly recommend this phone.

A5 vs. Z10

I am migrating from a BlackBerry Z10 to the Galaxy A5 2017. There are features that I like more on the A5: - Remarkable battery life. - Improved BlueTooth integration. - Linux SD card access. There are features I like more on the Z10: - LED notifications.

Very good phone. Respect to Samsung

I have being useing this phone for 2+ years already. Just it was on another account in the past and we used it as a business phone. I had A5 2016 as my personal. But when we switched for A8 , I decided to keep A5-2017 As my personal. One of the reasons- battery life and fast charging.

Great phone for the price

My first Android phone and I love it. The back and front camera are good quality and the operating system is much faster than my windows phone I've had previously. I am only 1 week into the experience though.

Review: Samsung Galaxy A5 smartphone (2017 model)

It's just as well that Samsung has launched the Samsung Galaxy S8 , because with the release of the 2017 model of the Samsung Galaxy A4, there was very little reason to buy the Samsung Galaxy S7 .

Like a much more expensive Samsung phone; all the parts just kind of work together; water resistant; USB Type-C

Gamers after fastest processor may not be satisfied

If you don't pay full price, this jack of all trades is a great value all-round android smartphone

We've seen flagship phones from almost everyone launch in the past several weeks. But while we're waiting Samsung's flagship Galaxy S8 phone to appear, we've been given the latest iteration of the mid-range (and much more affordable) Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017 model).

Good all-rounder; Already hugely discounted

Fingerprint reader is temperamental

Review: Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017)

T he Galaxy A5 may sit a tier or two below the Galaxy S7 in Samsung's enormous phone range, but with its clean metal frame and all-glass front, it almost puts its pricier sibling to shame.

Samsung has this ritual of launching specific smartphone series including Galaxy A, Galaxy J and some more every year, with some refinement in the build quality and specifications.

Build quality; Snappy performance; Decent cameras

Price; Slippery glass body; Still runs on Android 6.0

Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017) review: A well-built phone that lives or dies by Samsung Pay

The Rs 30,000 smartphone segment is an interesting one indeed. Popularly known as the budget-flagship segment, this price bracket sees phones that offer a compelling package of features that sets them apart from the run-of-the-mill smartphones in the market.
