Purchased for a first time smart phone user - so didn't want to spend a fortune. Easy enough set up and looks simple to use. I like that its a Samsung as that is in my comfort zone. Would be nice to be able to order a case though...
Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime is an affordable yet powerful 5.5-inch smartphone. Samsung market the phone as having a "sleek look and feel". But what else does this smart looking phone have to offer?

Let me first say that the T mobile Samsung Galaxy Prime is a really good phone. However the J7 depending on which carrier you buy it the specs are all over the place. T-Mobile told me it had 3g of Ram it has 2. I was told it had NFC it does not.
Bright display; Durable; Inexpensive; Built-in speakers
not the phone i thought i was getting
There's no doubt that Samsung makes some great high-end smartphones but when it comes to budget and mid-range smartphones, Samsung hasn't been doing so well. Honestly, if you think about it, there's no budget or mid-range offering from Samsung from the past few years that are even worth remembering.
Solid build; Great battery life; Decent front camera; Nice software additions
Bland design; microUSB port; No dual cameras and disappointing rear camera; Okay-ish performance; Still running on Nougat; Average display
