The Galaxy S8 is without a doubt the most attractive Galaxy flagship yet. The new design is sleek, streamlined and modern – a real break with the previous designs – and the phone's operation is smooth, fast and hiccup free. That said, it's not flawless.

Upgraded from my trusty old S3 that served me well for many years. Although this phone is two years old it is still a flagship. There have been little improvements from the S8 to the S9 to warrant the extra outlay. So jumped at Argos best price ever. This is phenomenal phone in every department.

I bought this phone a couple of days a go, the delivery was next day even though I ordered it at 12.30 midnight. The price point was amazing, it beat all other retailers. The phone itself is smooth and slick and so lightweight. Would definitely recommend shopping here.

Happy with this phone - bought to replace my old S6 - the only downside is they have changed the charger so all my old ones don't fit and the adapter is particular about what it will work with - other than that very happy indeed

The Galaxy S8 and plus-sized S8+ are absolutely brilliant smartphones. They're not without their flaws, but in everything from industrial design to internal hardware to software refinement, Samsung has knocked this one out of the park.

There's an old saying used by people to pluck up courage in tough situations – "it takes pressure to make a diamond". That's what Samsung did. Put simply – the Galaxy S8 is the best smartphone Samsung has ever produced. The device has a brilliant and iconic design and incredible build-quality.

I have owned this phone for about 4 weeks now. Its very sleek but also slippery. The long narrow screen and the glassy material front and back makes it easy to slip out of your hand or pocket. I case would simply resolve this issue.
