Samsung Galaxy S8 Dual SIM SM-G950FD 64GB

Samsung Galaxy S8 is the new flagship phone from Samsung. The Korean company announced it on March the 29th 2016.

The screen measures 5.8 inches and almost covers the entire front area thanks to the curved edges and the removal of the physical home button. Samsung applies an Infinitive Design for the screen, which makes it appear larger than it is. The aspect ratio is slightly taller than most other phones at 18.5 x 9. This aspect ratio allows Samsung to offer split screens and therefore two apps can be viewed at the same time.

Galaxy S8 comes with Samsung's own voice assistant called Bixby and offers face recognition in addition to iris scanning and fingerprint sensor.

Samsung Galaxy S8 review: The best phone ever made, only smaller

No phone is perfect, and the Galaxy S8 is no exception. But it's better than the best Samsung has ever made in almost every way.

Stunning display in a useful new aspect ratio; Industry leading performance with excellent battery life; Bluetooth 5; fast wireless charging,...

Bixby is a flop; The fingerprint sensor is located in the worst possible place; It's still full of bloatware and duplicative Samsung apps

Samsung Galaxy S8 Review: To infinity and beyond?

To conclude our Galaxy S8 review: there is a lot of good to be said about the "New Galaxy," as everyone calls it. Those of you that were left nostalgic by the beauty of the Note 7 will be happy to see even more beauty shown off here.

Modern 2017 flagship design (Phablet that feels small; Great build quality; Software optimized for one handed use; One of the best cameras of 2017; Good audio performance through headphones; IP68 water and dust resistant; Best specs on a flagship so far; Iris scanner and Secure folder are awesome,...

Third-party software needs to scale up to 18.5:9; Lacks stereo speakers; Battery life is just ok; Where is Android 7.1; Some variants are fingerprint magnets; Hello Bixby is half baked and slow; Software tends to stutter; Fingerprint scanner placement makes no logical sense

The AnTuTu battery test sets the display brightness to maximum and cranks up workloads for the processor, graphics core, memory and storage subsystems. It then runs through a number of real-world scripted workloads, including web browsing, gaming, and video playback, in an effort to drain the...

Samsung Galaxy S8 review: this simply irresistible phone is the best on the market

The iris scanner, the heart-rate monitor and Bixby in its current state exemplifies what's wrong with Samsung's approach to mobile. It's the endless array of features, useful or not, that Samsung throws at its phones. It's the hope that simply doing more makes the S8 better than the competition.

A super-fast, frustration-free phone for everyday use; Stunning design and build quality; Sharp edge-to-edge screen puts the focus on content

Extremely low-light camera performance in auto needs improving; Iris scanner is hopelessly fiddly; Bixby is incomplete and can't compete with Google Now and Assistant

Hands on Galaxy S8 review: who needs bezels?

We love the Galaxy S8. It's an incredible smartphone, but there are caveats - not least that terrible fingerprint reader. It's also not a wallet-friendly choice, but then neither is it intended to be. What it is intended to be is one of 2017's best smartphones.

Brilliant display; Blazing fast performance; Bluetooth 5 and dual audio

Rear fingerprint reader placement; Face recognition hit and miss; Bixby needs to differentiate

Samsung Galaxy S8 Review: An Android masterpiece, but it's not without flaws

After a long, twisted and explosive affair with its Galaxy Note 7 , Samsung is back in the flagship smartphone scene with its Galaxy S8. The smartphone was announced in India on 19 April at a price tag of Rs 57,900 with pre-orders beginning the same day, while the device goes on sale in stores and...

Samsung Galaxy S8 review: ahead of the curve

That's the first thing Samsung's product manager said to me before introducing the company's new flagship Galaxy S8 last month. He's not wrong: the modern concept of the smartphone has been around for a decade now, and the differences between devices are exceedingly incremental.

Gorgeous design; Meticulous fit and finish; Great camera; Big screen; but not a big phone; Gorgeous design; Meticulous fit and finish; Great camera; Enormous; stunning display

Annoying preinstalled apps; Atrocious fingerprint scanner placement; Merely average battery life; Bixby is useless; Annoying preinstalled apps; Atrocious fingerprint scanner placement; Bixby is useless; Larger size can be cumbersome

The Samsung Galaxy S8 is a landmark moment for the smartphone. In making the seemingly simple decision to stretch the screen, Samsung has created a handset which finally breaks the smartphone mould and ends years of design stagnation.

Easy to use, great Samsung owned apps like S Health; Light weight, great screen resolution with a fast processor

Battery life could be better; I advise using one of the power saving modes to get the most out of the battery

Without a doubt, this is an excellent device in terms of performance, camera and battery life. But two things are annoying placement of fingerprint sensor and dud Bixby.

Excellent screen; beautiful design; performance; camera

Awkward fingerprint sensor placement; dud Bixby
