Samsung knows how to make a premium Android smartphone. For the past few years, every addition to their Galaxy
Here are five reasons why the Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus is going to be my daily driver for the foreseeable future....
After the Galaxy Note 7 debacle, Samsung had to prove itself, that much is obvious. It's also becoming apparent that Samsung is reaching its goal with the Galaxy S8+. The design is as elegant as it is successful, the quality of the build is perfect and although the format is unusual, it proves to be...
Superior build quality and elegant design, Impressive display, Very good camera, Smooth performance, Latest Android version
Battery only average, Bixby not ready yet, Fingerprint sensor placement is odd
Yes, if you are looking for a top-end Android phone and want the best. The only challenger for this phone is the Google Pixel, which has not really flown off the shelves. My word of caution is to wait a few weeks before you buy the phone, just to ensure there are no major issues being reported from...
Of course, the display is amazing. The bezel-less experience is for sure more natural than everything we have been experiencing for many years now. In a dimly lit room, this screen can gradually make you forget the surrounding, and concentrate purely on the screen, which is great for those who...
In some senses, the Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus doesn’t really deserve its own review. It’s much the same as the Samsung Galaxy S8 . It has the same features as its (slightly) smaller sibling; the same internals, camera, storage options, and screen aspect ratio and resolution.
Samsung changed everything. Again. Well, maybe that’s not entirely correct. I suppose what I mean is that Samsung has changed how I feel about its phones again. For a long time Samsung was kind of just there.
There are two reasons to buy the Galaxy S8+ – an epic screen and solid battery life. Everything else is pretty much the same as the smaller S8, but it’s more awkward to hold and carry. There’s no doubt it’s a great phone that’s practically unrivalled on the display front.
Pros: 64GB + microSD card slot, wireless charging, IP68, brilliant screen, good battery life, great camera, iris scanner, pressure-sensitive screen, notification LED
Cons: fixed battery, only Android 7.0, no USB-PD, fingerprint scanner placement not great
The Samsung Galaxy S8+ is a super-sized version of the S8, with an absolutely incredible screen, and electrifying capabilities to match. It's the most powerful mobile device you can get your hands on, but the price is sky high too.
When it comes to the Galaxy S8+, Samsung's over-sized version of the S8, it seems that the company has gone about things the right way - at least on paper: it boasts a giant 6.2in screen, the tiniest of bezels and enticing specs.
The S8+ takes smartphone screens to another level, but the fingerprint reader spoils the party.
Brilliant 6.2-inch display, Blazing fast performance, Bluetooth 5/dual audio
Rear fingerprint reader placement, Bixby needs to differentiate, Face recognition hit and miss
