I comparison with 18-105, Nikon is faster to acquire focus and it is sharp always. On 300 fotos 1 is a miss. Sigma miss 40-60% photos. If you shoot lowlight or some parties, don't buy this lens.

Color is better then Nikon 18-105 and thats all; And it has classy look, nothing more

1.Very slow autofocus, sometimes very accurate, but most of the times no focus at all (and I know how to use it believe me); It's very bad in poor light, hard to acquire focus and when it do acquire it will be wrong focus.

A must-have lens for APS-C camera users

A review after using seven weeks.

I was very happy with the performance of this lens from day one. As almost all reviews available on the Internet say, this lens produces superb image quality.

Buttery smooth, sharp, fast, awesome.

I've had this for quite a while now, and for video work it is simply in class of its own. The zoom and focus rings are buttery smooth (much more so than any canon lens I've used), the F1.8 aperture lets in more light than most primes, its built solidly, and is incredibly sharp.

Love it.

There are a million in depth reviews of this lens on the various photography sites and every thing they say is true. If you shoot APS-C this is a very nice piece of glass at a really decent price considering the competition. After shooting on this for a month I've added this 50-100 to my wishlist.

Sigma 18-35mm f/1.8 DC HSM Art Lens

When it was announced roughly a year ago, Sigma's 18-35mm f/1.8 DC HSM Art lens was the first of its type with a constant f/1.8 maximum aperture. Designed exclusively for cameras with APS-C sized sensors, it covers the 35mm equivalent of 29-56mm on Canon DSLRs and 27-52mm on other bodies.

F1.8 Aperture Will Give You Bokeh Shots And this is very awesome lens for youtubers and videographers

After purchasing a Camera we need a good lens for our video and pictures and if you are a photographer then canon 70-200 better then 18-35 but if you want a budget lens then buy it. Sigma 18-35 With f/1.8 Aperture Make This Thing awesome. * 1.

Sigma 18-35 f1.8 Nikon Mount

This is a very sharp lens from 18-35 focal length wide open. Sharpness is comparable or better than fixed lenses I own (35mm f1.8G and 50mm f1.8D) Focusing is precise and there is no need to use the micro focus adjustment on my Nikon D7000. Build quality is outstanding. Comes with a free hood too.

Very sharp and precise focus

I wish they added vibration reduction; Using it without a tripod indoors without flash would soften the image when you pixel peep in the monitor; Totally acceptable in prints 5x7 and below; Also, can only be used is APS-C sensor cameras
