I bought this second hand. I'm largely very pleased with it. I had a Canon HG20 previously, from new. Almost everything I want, but missing features that would have cost very little.. No socket for external microphone. No flash on photo function. No USB streaming, to use as webcam, for example.

Bought this camcorder for my boyfriend birthday present just before a wedding we were going to attend. This camcorder is surpringly light and easy to operate and the built-in projector is good enough for showing the moment we share together.

Poor Handy cam. Display on LCD poor. Grainy video in normal light. I bought only for Ustream live broadcast feature but it works like hell all time freezing and black screen. Never ever go for it.

The camera is small, it sits well in my little hand, comfortable buttons ... The purity of the image and the projection surprised me very positively - in a 9 megapixel camera, the image is crystal, the projected picture too. I am extremely pleased ......

Best Camcorder for keeping precious moments alive for long. It is easy to carry, record and playback. Good to have builtin projector for immediate sharing with mass. Decent video quality and easy to keep memories on computer.

Very intuitive menu although it took a while to find the "ok" / "confirm" option; Perfectly fits in your hand and is super light; Favourite gimmick is the projector that works surprisingly well! Video quality is great although lacking a bit quality in low light; Image stabilizer works awesome.

Don't rely on the still image - your phone will probably take better images; Forget the digital zoom (like with any other digital camera) optical zoom is perfect though; Battery life sucks (about 50min worth of video) but if you get some spare batteries off eBay you'll be fine.

Picture quality poor looks grainy/hazy. Played about with the settings and not much better at all. Battery life not great either. Pays to pay that little bit more!

Awesome Camera, good quality for the price, make sure you buy a micro SD card for it.
