I have mixed feelings about this product. It's very sharp when It comes to photography, what it comes to film it does look a little bit less sharp.

So far very sharp pictures. Has some distortion at the widest end which is to be expected. I really like that it is a 2.8. Good color contrast. Good price.

Sharp, Fast and Ultra Wide. Works great with my D5100. The additional zoom range over 11-16mm lens is the real highlight of this lens. Highly recommended for Crop sensor bodies.

The amount of light it lets in is awesome so a good lens for night photography and auroras

This is for Canon bodies. Wasn't too clear when I purchased it. Seems to be French stock judging by the booklet it came with. Not too important as instructions not really required for a lens. I've had limited time with it but seems a cracking lens.

Tokina AT-X 11-20mm f/2.8 PRO DX

A niche lens, but one that should be considered if you shoot on a Canon or Nikon APS-C DSLR and require a wide-angle zoom with a fast aperture at a reasonable price.

Fast maximum aperture; Construction is more robust than many budget wide-angle zooms; Practical size without being too bulky; Affordable

Doesn't allow manual intervention in AF mode; Noisy AF motor; Doesn't always engage fully into manual focus mode; No weather sealing

Tokina's exclusive One-touch Focus Clutch Mechanism allows the photographer to switch between AF and MF simply by snapping the focus ring forward for AF and back toward the lens mount for manual focusing.
