I lucked up and found this lens in the used department in perfect condition. This a great zoom lens, there's a reason it's the kit lens on the newer 5 D's. It's a sharp lens, not a 2.8, but at a maximum aperture of 4 it's still great.

I got the 24-105 as part of the 6d kit and am glad I did. It's a great zoom lens with accurate AF that produces lovely sharp images.

Excellent Lens. Little on the heavier side. Using it with Canon EOS 600d. First few clicks were not extraordinary but the quality kept on improving on usage. Of course, this is nothing to do with the lens.

This lens, though not nearly as sharp as my Canon EF 24-70 F2.8 II USM lens, is an excellent not too expensive, not too heavy, but a very good picture quality choice for a go everywhere, shoot anything glass. Image stabilization is a big plus too.

Packing was good. got a leather bag and lens hood free with this. I have been using this and have not faced any problem so far. I am not able to register this lens on canon india website. I am still figuring that out.
