Amazing and the most universal lens among all on the market. However, maximum aperture will not allow you to receive amazingly blured bokeh and it will push you to raise ISO up to 4000 sometimes.

I use this lens on a 50D and find the focal range to be alright however on the 1.6x crop of the 50D means that it's more of a short telephoto, but for a travel lens you really can't get better. The quality of the photos is brilliant and sharp.

With canon producing several new lenses lately I thought I would report my experience with the 24-105. My experience with this lens has been very positive, I have used this excellent lens extensively over the past 2 years with a 5D mkiii for travel, sport and family.
