A must have.A absolute fantastic lens

Ich nutze dieses Objektiv seit dem ich die Eos700D besitze und bin super zufrieden damit! Die Bildqualit?t ist wirklich super! Der Zoombereich ist meist v?llig ausreichend (Auf Grund der super Bildqualit?t kann man ruhigen Gewissens auch noch den Bildausschnitt anpassen und dadurch "zoom" gewinnen).

This lens cam packaged with my 5D MKII about 10 years ago. It stayed on my MKII and now my MKIV. It is a great "Standard" lens. I usually take coin shots with 50MM Macro, but I though I would try this lens for the review. I shot this with Auto ISO and Tv at 1/60.

With canon producing several new lenses lately I thought I would report my experience with the 24-105. My experience with this lens has been very positive, I have used this excellent lens extensively over the past 2 years with a 5D mkiii for travel, sport and family.

Build quality is excellent as expected, and the lens is quite compact and light. If money isn't a major concern for you, and you want a superb compromise lens, this is the one to pick. The image quality is also exceptional, as expected.

A superb general-purpose lens, Canon's EF 24-105mm f/4 L IS USM is equally at home on the EOS 400D and the 'full frame' EOS 5D cameras, giving a focal length range equivalent to 38.4 to 168mm on the former.

The lens did however have a rocky start, with early models suffering from an internal flare problem , forcing returns and delaying wider distribution. These issues seem to have been solved now though, and certainly the versions we've tested exhibited no problems in this regard.
