Trip to Europe and wanted something smaller than my Rebel T1i, and easier to use than my Nikon S6200. I also wanted something with a viewfinder. Bottom line: am very impressed with this camera! Pros: Quick power on and time to focus Accurate and easy zoom Excellent battery life.
I got this as a pocket camera for when I leave my 60D SLR at home. Very fast focus, faster than any camera I have tried. Great lens for lower light. And tremendous battery life, rated at 360 shots when using lcd display but it you turn that off and use the optical view finder it gets over 700.

Find the wifi a bit confusing to set up! Would be nice if it came with a camera case available at time of purchase.

I recently purchased this camera/kit for a planned vacation. I found that I, alone, among my companions was able to get excellent photos in areas where flash was prohibited. Having the extra battery with me saved me on several occasions, tho both times, I hadn't re-charged the primary battery...

Optical view finder is further off in its framing than I'd like; Instruction manual that comes with camera is focused on Wifi features, and tells very little about actual camera functions - nothing beyond on, off, and Auto.
