For those days when a DSLR is too much to handle, the G16 makes a fine deputy

There's much to be said for sticking with something that works, but do it for too long and the item in question starts to look old. Take the Canon PowerShot G-series, here in its latest G16 form, as an example.

A quality product, a little too small for my hands. I have decided to stick with my, slightly bigger, Canon G10.

A really good quality camera with lots of features and very sensitive in low light. Interconnectivity is really great as well. Added bonus was the longer warranty with JLP and the quick delivery.

Trip to Europe and wanted something smaller than my Rebel T1i, and easier to use than my Nikon S6200. I also wanted something with a viewfinder. Bottom line: am very impressed with this camera! Pros: Quick power on and time to focus Accurate and easy zoom Excellent battery life.

I got this as a pocket camera for when I leave my 60D SLR at home. Very fast focus, faster than any camera I have tried. Great lens for lower light. And tremendous battery life, rated at 360 shots when using lcd display but it you turn that off and use the optical view finder it gets over 700.

awesome compact camera, specially with low light levels

I recently purchased this camera/kit for a planned vacation. I found that I, alone, among my companions was able to get excellent photos in areas where flash was prohibited. Having the extra battery with me saved me on several occasions, tho both times, I hadn't re-charged the primary battery...

Quick shutter response, excellent light-gathering for low-light images, optical viewfiender - all in a relatively small camera; Large SD card; Good to have extra battery; Very good package.

Optical view finder is further off in its framing than I'd like; Instruction manual that comes with camera is focused on Wifi features, and tells very little about actual camera functions - nothing beyond on, off, and Auto.

This camera is everything advertised and more. I love it. And Crutchfield did a great job getting it to me quickly.

Wonderful camera for the money

I have wanted to buy a digital SLR but my wife (who takes most of the pictures in the house) does not want a large camera or one with many controls. So we have always struggled with getting good pictures at school events indoors. This camera has solved that problem.

Purchased this camera to take pictures at my son's high school graduation; You know, far away from stage, high zoom, folks moving, etc..; With every other small digital camera I have owned this would have resulted in blurry poor quality pictures; This camera did an awesome job.

The printed manual is not very good; It goes through the wireless setup but not really into the camera features; Took some time to figure out the settings
