Nice little scanner, too bloody small.

Wish I could give this two rankings, one for the size and packaging and the other for picture quality. Let's do the pic quality first. Scanning chromes, and black and white negs is a joy. It's a nice scanner, great detail even when upsampling to 2400 dpi. Crisp and sharp with good range and tone.

Awful Experience (new V370)

After 3 tries with a different Epson V370 Scanner, I through in the towel and decided to no longer do business with them. It would never scan my color negatives correctly; if I tried to scan 4 or 5 frames, the photos would be split or divided with a bunch of partial pictures.

Nice Scanner, but...

Great for everyday use and easy to use for people looking to just scan an image at a time or documents. Do not buy if you want to do some intensive graphic scanning.

Good quality scans, seems to be solidly built and sturdy; The software is simple for scanning and easy to use

Severely limited on depth of scans; With a machine using 32GB of RAM and SSDs for swaps files, you are limited to the depth of scan you can do; You will gt an error that there is not enough memory to scan anything over a low pixel scan

Received a faulty unit

I believe the unit I received was faulty. The unit would make a few whirring sounds and the error light would start flashing. I was never able to get one scan from it. Customer support responded quickly and after review they recommended returning for exchange.

Epson ships obviously bad hardware

Epson Perfection V600 was shipped with an obvious defect (red scan line down the middle of any scanned image). Very disappointed in EPSON. The scanner itself is high quality and quite capable, producing excellent results on photo scans, v.

Epson Perfection V600 Photo Scanner

The Good Nice build quality. Easy to set up. Automated front buttons. OCR and photo editing software included. Can use any scanning software. The Bad EPSON Scan does not yield the best scans. Must spend money on better scan software for best results.

Epson Perfection V600 Photo

As there's no option to calibrate or profile the scanner using the included software, the V600 is limited in its applications to professional photographers or keen hobbyists looking to convert a large quantity of slides or negatives.

Film holders for 35mm; medium format and transparency (slide; Good OCR recognition; Excellent quality flatbed scans

No support for film larger than 120; No calibration or profiling options
