This looked like it was perfect for what I wanted it to do. I have a 10.11 OS Mac and it never occurred to me that this would only run on old, outdated systems. I saw the list of old systems, but I thought it went back that far not that it JUST worked with OLD systems. Live and learn.

I bought this because I wanted a small portable scanner to use with my Dell XPS laptop and Windows 10. It worked well scanning a foreign document (Dutch) and then converting it via the provided software to English (Word & PDF files).

Works great. Will only scan letter size paper no index size scans. You can trick it to take the index size if a letter size paper is with it. Works great and easy. Perfect for quick scan

having owned this scanner for over a year does not make me an expert on it. i bought it to scan customer bills so i could forward them to the payroll dept. quicker than snail mail.
