This scanner is just what I needed for me being an independent contractor. The problem I've had is with my Pavillion not having a CD option. I cannot download via internet. Customer service is all automated which is frustrating I downloaded on another laptop (different make) and it works fine.
Affordable; Lightweight
This is the scanner to have for simple scanning projects - envelopes , letter , legal , etc. Software installed without any problems and the scanner is very easy to use.
A recent addition to the ScanJet family, the ScanJet Pro 2000 s1 Sheet-feed Scanner ($299.99) is a capable low-volume document scanner comparable in capacity and features to the Editors' Choice Canon imageFormula DR-C225 , as well as the adept Brother ADS-2000e .
Low price; Good scanning and text recognition speeds for the price; Strong software bundle, including document and business card management apps; Compact and light
Scan interface utility could be more robust; Limited number of workflow destinations
While easy to use this scanner constantly mis-feeds documents. I always make sure that my scan batch only around 30 pages at a time to try and minimize problems. But this scanner pulls in multiple sheets at a time, thereby skipping them in the scan document probably 90% of the time.
