JBL Tune 230NC Review

Only a handful of affordable noise-cancelling true wireless earphones are worth your attention, but you can add JBL’s Tune 230NC earbuds ($99.99) to that list. They deliver slightly better active noise cancellation (ANC) than you'd expect for the price, along with solid audio performance and a companion app that lets you customize their sound signature and controls. That said, they don't particularly stand out compared with the $79.99 Anker Soundcore Life P3 and $129.99 Anker Soundcore Liberty Air 2 Pro, both of which have an edge in terms of noise cancellation.Secure Fit, Good Battery Life Available in black, blue, or white, the Tune 230NC earpieces have a stem-style design. The in-canal fit is exceptionally secure, especially considering there are no additional ear fins or hooks. JBL includes three sets of eartips in small, medium, and large sizes. Internally, 6mm drivers deliver a frequency range of 20Hz to 20kHz with a 16-ohm impedance. The earphones are compatible with Blue...

JBL's true wireless Tune 230NC earphones deliver good audio performance and active noise cancellation for the price, but they don't quite stand out.

Solid noise cancellation for the price; Powerful bass-forward audio with bright highs; App includes adjustable EQ; Secure fit

Noise cancellation isn't up to par with some competitors; Scooped sound signature not for purists

JBL Tune 230NC review

The JBL Tune 230NC are true wireless earbuds that offer a nice, bright sound, a comfortable fit and solid battery life for a pretty reasonable price. ANC isn’t best in class, plus you can find better call clarity elsewhere, but for the price there’s more to like than not here.

Bright, punchy sound; Good battery life; Reliable fit;

ANC is good, but not fantastic; Microphone quality just about does the job

Good sound

I got this for a discounted price. Overall, happy with the sound quality (clean bass and very good mid range. and instrument separation is admirable considering its price) and the features. ANC is good enough for the price and they fit well. The battery life is also remarkable.

Fit excellent in ears, good sound, good noise cancelling

These fot really well in my ears, very safe to not fall out! Use them for running, exercising, and at home. I like the sound, and noise cancelling works well. Only issue the controls take a bit getting used to (too many functions), but it does not matter much to me as I only need it to change volume ot switch between noise cancelling and you can customize what function you want first.

I am returning them today

Within days of using they started having charging issues and refusing to connect to phone or would randomly take over the sound of my phone even though in closed case in a different room
