I bought these to replace the connector at the end of a cat5E STP solid round cable. only needed one but bought 2 in case of a bad crimp. firstly i had to remove part of the crimp tool to prevent it digging into the connector second the *strain relief* prevents use of any decent boots leaving you with any ugly look third bad quality. first termination had bad contact and had to be cut off, second plug the load bar wouldn't insert all the way due to incorrect tolerances in manufacture, so i had to toss that too. ended up just using a standard Solid round Cat5 UTP 8P8C plug by Dynamix, which worked first go. buy the Ubiquti stp con...view more
