***November 2014 update***
Compact size; on-off switch
Reversed scrolling direction on trackpad
this is a great little keyboard, quiet sounding, fast setup, works perfectly
Compact Design; Easy To Set Up; Easy To Use; Quiet
I\'ll be honest and say that I use my Digital Media Pro Keyboard mainly whilst at work, (not at home), but I reckon that will help me give a much more reliable review as I end up using it every day for potentially hours on end.
Great build quality; excellent key travel; My Favourites shortcut system; included wrist rest
F Lock system a little fiddily and time consuming
Although the Microsoft All-In-One Media Keyboard would work okay as a portable keyboard for work purposes, it clearly isn't its intended use. For navigating around a media system or smarthome setup, it will be perfect. At this price it is a really good deal.
Useing to control Android on smart TV. works well and has a pleasing appearance and feel
Geared toward controlling a living-room PC connected to a large display or HDTV from across the room, the Microsoft All-in-One Media Keyboard ($39.95) has a lot to offer. This slim and light keyboard feels sturdy, provides a smooth typing experience, and has a good set of media-oriented function keys and hotkeys. It integrates a touchpad with mouse buttons that support gestures (including ones for Windows 8). The Media Keyboard ($30.94 at Amazon) measures a compact 0.8 by 5.2 by 14.4 inches (HWD) and weighs 15.3 ounces. It's black, with chiclet-style keys that have rounded corners. The keys are fairly closely spaced (the keys span just 10 inches), though not as closely as those on the Logitech Wireless Touch Keyboard K400r ($39.99 at Logitech) . The keys have a good spring to them, and I found the typing experience smoother. There's an on-off switch on the side. A green indicator light glows for 10 seconds after you turn the keyboard on, but otherwise the keyboard remains unli...
The wireless Microsoft All-in-One Media Keyboard lets you easily stream music and other content from a home-theater or living-room PC from the comfort of the sofa.
Inexpensive; Very good wireless range; Built-in touchpad and mouse buttons; Supports gestures, including Windows 8; Good typing and touchpad experience
Somewhat cramped keyboard; Keys are not backlit
Working perfectly in Win10. Still work in MacOS. But the keys are soft and touch pad only surport 2 fingers at same time.
Well worth the money, slim light and great key and touchpad action, Use this with a smart TV and I find it a great deal better than my normal mouse
priced around 30 bucks you get your moneys worth and little more, IF if find a way to break it , I will likely buy the same model
light weight, thin, feels strong, not afraid that I might sit on it , built sturdy, mouse pad works great, love the up down arrow keys that are built on a rocker so you can scroll with them; volume rocker works great as well.
since it was designed as a media keyboard I would have liked a more user friendly dedicated Play pause rewind buttons; would have been great if there were some programmable keys, to program for Netflix or kodi start up; and the thing I would have liked the most would have been a power button.
