Xbox One X review: one for the 4K diehards

F our years after the launch of the original machine, Microsoft's Xbox One family is now finally complete. Although the Xbox One X has been hailed as the most powerful console ever made, it very much remains an Xbox One derivative, running all the same games and working with all the accessories with...

Xbox One X

Out the box, just contact your external HDD to console, power on, there'll be an update to do, under 400k, takes no time at all. Sign in with you account details, and that's it. The body is now metal, and it's heavyer than I expected, but nothing outrageous.

Xbox One X Review – Ushering in a New Era of True 4K Gaming

I'll admit, reviewing the "world's most powerful console" is a bit of an overwhelming experience. It's the first time I (or any of us) have played on a true 4K gaming console. What could I possibly compare it to? I could stack it up against the PS4 Pro, but would that be fair?

True 4K gaming; Impressive specs; Quicker load times; Stunning textures and draw distances

A tad expensive; 2TB would have been nice; Elite controller would have been nice

Compact / powerful and quiet console of this generation.

Was super excited well before the order arrived and when it was here .. it did not disappoint. After doing a bit of research on how to calibrate my TV for gaming .. I booted up my Xbox one X and was greeted with a simple and game friendly UI.. Signed in , and downloaded the available update..

Xbox One X review: A surprising amount of power in a very small box

The Xbox One X just might be the thing that lifts Microsoft out of its gaming console rut. Before the Xbox One even released there was that disastrous E3 2013, with news of an always-online console, Sony's price coup, and Don Mattrick out there talking about people using Xbox 360s on nuclear...

Its good when it works

It works when it wants to work, i recommend not getting the Xbox one x that was made in August, September, October and November, those ones are slow and have pix elating screens, we are now having to take it back for repair :( yes i recommend it but ones not made in the months provided.

Since its entry into the console gaming space nearly two decades ago, Microsoft positioned the Xbox brand as one that focused on power. The original Xbox, and the Xbox 360 reflected this, with both of them having some of the best looking and technically astounding games of their respective...

Worthy upgrade over the Xbox One S; Improves a lot of games; Excellent build quality

Not available officially yet; Microsoft's download system needs work

Xbox One X review: Microsoft made a 4K mean machine

Microsoft said it was going to make the most powerful console in the world, and it has. This is a high-end games machine for those who want that extra oomph to their visuals, that consistency to their frame rates, and a full 4K media arsenal at their fingertips.
