A must if you own a high end 4K TV ...

Pairing the "X" with an Oled TV is a match made in heaven, games on this console run smoothly and the graphics are amazing, all those xbox enhanced games look gorgeous and if they are HDR capable you are gonna be in for a real treat, I knew the jump from the One S would be noticeable but never did I...

Xbox One X review: A surprising amount of power in a very small box

The Xbox One X exceeds not only its predecessor, but also matches up to the majority (55 percent or more) of gaming PCs today-and for only $500.

The most powerful console by a long shot; Small; quiet; and unassuming; Cheaper than full PC system builds with equivalent graphics cards

If you've got money to spend; a decent PC will still take you further (and is upgradeable; 1 TB hard drive is not prepared for the realities of modern...

An Excellent Upgrade from the normal Xbox One

After having a few years of experience playing on an Xbox One, the upgrade to the X was a great choice for me. First, being able to play with the increased FPS was great. (because I don't have a 4K TV so 1080p FTW) Being able to type stuff in on a keyboard instead of the controller was absolutely...

4k HDR Netflix Amazon Prime and video games

This was a good purchase. It's much faster than my Day One XBOX. I'M BACK TO CONSOLE GAMING AGAIN FROM A PC GAMING HIATUS. Digital Foundry's constant barage of info and comparisons served as a major persuasion tool for me to take the One X plunge.

Xbox One X review

With a gaming PC's worth of graphical horsepower housed inside a deceivingly small package, the Xbox One X does what no console has done before: Native 4K HDR gaming. However, while games look absolutely stunning, with a fantastic level of detail accentuated by the console's HDR support, their...

Native 4K HDR gaming; 4K Blu-ray player built-in; Improves 1080p experience

1TB HDD fills up fast; Games aren't always 60fps; Skewed price-performance ratio

Xbox One X review: watch the unboxing and gameplay, read our verdict, and find out if it beats the PS4 Pro

There's no doubting the Xbox One X's power and, when it's fed games that have been programmed to tap into that, the audio-visual experience is best-in-class. Caveats to an instant purchase, however, include a high price and current lack of available titles that fully make use of its hardware.

New 4K games look phenomenal; Ultra HD Blu-ray player; Dolby Atmos compatible; Compact size and slim profile; Enhances old games

Very expensive; Uninspiring design; Small new 4K games library at launch

Xbox One X

The pinnacle in console hardware, but not yet a must-buy.

Gorgeous 4K visuals; Quiet running; Improves performance in some games

Quality of graphics enhancements vary by game; Small and slow hard disk; Relatively high price

Extremely Powerful

Bought my one X nearly 3 weeks ago, and absolutely love it. Loading times are in some case twice as fast as the normal Xbox one, and the 4K output is amazing. The 4K output works for games and Netflix, and is really easy to set up once you have enabled 4K output on your TVs HDMI output.
