Fantastic lens!

Overall, great lens. I don't do wide shots all that often, but when you need it, and can't step back any further, this lens is TOP notch. Even on a crop body, it would be recommended.

Goes really wide on a full frame 5D body; Solid Construction

Minor vignetting at 16-18mm; 82mm filter size; yikes

Love it!

I use this lens for a very specific interior photography process and it performs to the highest standards that I expected. It has extremely consistent output and is a jewel to work with.

After renting this lens last year to use during our annual beach vacation, I fell in love with it. As our trip approaches this year, I knew I wanted to take it with me again, but didn't feel that renting it every year would be the best financial decision.

16mm Fisheye

If you are looking for a unique perspective for your full frame Nikon DSLR then look no further than this classic lens. This 180 degree diagonal fisheye lens will create amazing images that no other lens can achieve.

Nikon 16mm f/2.8D AF Fisheye Nikkor

AF Fisheye-Nikkor 16mm f/2.8D All of my lens test/comparisons were performed on a Nikon D2x (reduced frame, 1.5x 12.2MP CMOS sensor). The camera was set to mirror lock-up, mounted on a tripod and fired with the MC-30 cable release.

I really like the modest fisheye FUNK this lens gives when mounted on a 1.5x sensor DSLR

I don't really have any Cons

Good introduction

"Just bought my D3000 few days ago and did not have the oppertunity to take the workshop prior to the Air Show this past weekend. Now I have a better understanding of my camera far beyond the manual. Thanks to the instructor in giving a great lesson and look forward in future classes.
