This is my new go to lens for sporting events. It isn't one that you can hand hold for very long though so plan on bringing a tripod or unipod along with you.
Fast accurate auto-focus; Good in low light; Sharp
Heavy bulky
Matched up with my D810. Wanted a quality versatile lense to match up with a quality camera. This was the ticket. Lense is heavy but manageable.

I have been saving for some time to buy this amazing lens! I'm so excited to get out and take photos! It is very expensive, but you have to pay for quality products.
Beautiful bokeh; Easy To Use; Fast accurate auto-focus; Improves Picture Quality; Sharp Photos
expensive; Heavy but worth it
A great purchase for me especially because of my low light photography for the local symphony. Much brighter lens than my 28-300 f4.5. I'm now able to take advantage of higher shutter speeds and faster f2.8 aperture creating more appealing photos.
Love love the lens. I have tested it on my D700 and D7000. It is so sharp and smooth. I regret that I have waited for this long to get it. It is sure heavy. I am thinking of getting a monopod to go with it.
Easy To Use; Fast / Accurate Auto-Focus; Good Image Quality; Good Image Stabilization; Sharp
Expensive; Heavy
