This is my go-to lens for everyday photography. Perfect for point and shoot. It's easy to zoom in and out quickly. I keep this one on the camera at all times, and only switch to a premium lens when doing an intentional photo shoot.

The price is so affordable I don't know why I didn't buy it sooner. Imagine a Nikon Lens that is high quality and affordable!!!! Thank you Beach Camera!!!
Lightweight, Very, Very, Very quiet, Great images, the perfect compliment to my lens assortment; Fits my D1 like it was made for it
At first it did make some noise; but after a few focuses it got real quiet; (pro or con you decide
I would never buy anything but a Nikon!!!
Last April we tested the standard kit lenses available for DSLRs and the winner proved to be the Nikon optic. Now Nikon has gone back to the drawing board and produced a new zoom with Vibration Reduction, available as a bundle with the Nikon D60 or separately for £180.

Wideangle chromatic aberration; plastic build
Nikon's 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 VR kit lens is specifically designed to work in harmony with DX format digital cameras.

The Nikon 18-55mm AF-P VR costs around $250, for which you get solid performance. If you can grab a good set (with D3400 or D5600 or even with D7500) where you usually pay only some $100-150 USD on top of the body-alone price tag, the price / performance ratio gets even better.
The ‘VR' in this lens stands for Vibration Reduction. The name is different, but the basic mechanism is the same as Canon's IS (Image Stabiliser) technology. Gyroscopic sensors within the lens detect the slightest movement and a ‘floating' element within the lens is instantly adjusted to keep the...
What a delightful little zoom lens for my D7200! Light weight, plus having VR makes it a great walk-around lens for outdoor (or indoor with very good ambient light) shooting. The VR is giving me blur-free images even with shutter speeds as slow as 1/20 if I don't mind an ISO up to 3200 (my preferred...
This is an excellent little walkaround lens that gives good performance and sharpness plus VR. It all plastic but seems reasonably put together but I don't really like plastic mounts but for the price of this one I can forgive it. Recommended...
Sharp; fast focus,lightweight
I bought this camera after drooling after it for months. It has lived up to almost all of my expectations. The pictures I take look more professional than with any other camera I've used.
Picture quality is very good; Functionality and settings are very good; It's slightly smaller than the average Digital SLR so it's easier to tote around town
I wish more of the Nikon lenses worked with this camera body; I wish there was an image stabilization feature, especially when using the longer lenses
