Nikon Nikkor AF-S DX 35mm F1.8G

The Nikon Nikkor AF-S DX 35mm f1.8 G offers outstanding images that come from a prime lens. This lens has a lot to offer when it comes to low-light shooting and creating softly blurred backgrounds. There is a normal view, which provides everything you need. If you need a high quality lens, the Nikon Nikkor AF-S DX 35mm f1.8 G should be at the top of your list.

Plus, you can isolate your subject for a dramatic effect. The key to creating outstanding photos is using a lens with a wide maximum aperture. This lens offers an aperture of f/1.8, which results in complete depth-of-field control for filming your subject and creating outstanding portraits.

The Nikon Nikkor AF-S DX 35mm f1.8 G does an excellent job under low light performance. The aperture does more than create outstanding backgrounds. It also improves the quality of photos when there is not a lot of light. With the Nikon Nikkor AF-S DX 35mm f1.8 G, you will be able to take photos under different conditions with natural light both inside and outside.

The AF-S NIKKOR lens offers Nikon's Silent Wave Motor. This is one of the latest developments in AF lens technology. It features an Aspherical lens element. The best part is that it take advantage of non-spherical surfaces, which helps to reduce lens aberration.

This lens has a focusing mode which provides an outstanding option to change from automatic to manual focus. There is almost no lag time.

The Nikon Nikkor AF-S DX 35mm f1.8 G features eight elements in six groups. This lens differs from the 50mm standard prime. The focal length is shorter than the flange distance from the lens mount to the imager. As a result, you will need a 'retrofocal' design.

Anyone looking for a lens that produces high quality photos will love the Nikon Nikkor AF-S DX 35mm f1.8 G. The lens helps to deliver high quality photos, even when there is limited lighting. The Nikon Nikkor AF-S DX 35mm f1.8 G is compact and offers outstanding picture quality. The ring type SWM has a lot to offer. The front element and filter mount do not rotate and the length of the barrel does not change.

Excellent Go-To Lens for Portraits and Everyday Shooting

Have only had this lens for less than a week now, but am very pleased with the results I'm getting with it installed on my D3400. With the 3400, this lens allows the same basic view and capture as the human eye.

Engineered for DX cameras

i purchased one of these lenses for my friend, and he can not describe how happy he is with this lens. This lens is the only prime lens engineered for dx format cameras spesifically.

Giving The Other Lenses A Run For Their Money

By far my most used lens. If I had a complaint it would be that it spoils me to want my other lenses to perform as well which can get expensive. The price is oh so right for a lens of this caliber. It's so easily portable.

Good to have it

Had a confusion between 35mm and 50mm ,finally went to 35 mm after experimenting and going through all the reviews available. I feel my decision is right because 35mm is more versatile compared to 50 mm .And even portrait click is also so good with this lens .I recommend this to all DX users.

Great lens

I bought this lens to take photos indoors of my new grandson at Christmas & it has not disappointed. Great shots & great clarity. I researched whether to buy this or 50mm & I believe this was the right choice. Also used it outdoors & pleased with the results of Christmas lights without using tripod.

The little lens that could!

I use this lens a lot for flowers and it produces photos that I am rather proud of, the 1 and ONLY thing I don't like is the focus ring, I shoot a lot in manual and it feels like a very cheap build and it could break at any moment, but this is its only fault.

Easy to use; Compact

Best prime lens for everyday photography

It is the first lens to buy for those of us with kit lens. On DX body the focal length becomes 52.5mm which is best for all purpose everyday casual photography. Its 50mm sibling (which costs almost the same) is a little difficult to work with indoor but better for portraiture. Pros: 1.

Excellent, Small, Low Light, and Sharp Every Day Lens

This DX 35mm f/1.8 lens is an excellent value. Its resolution rivals that of FX lenses three times the cost. The image below was taken with a Nikon D40 camera body at a shutter speed of 1/125 of s second, an aperture of f/1.8, an ISO of 560, Auto White Balance, and Matrix Metering.
