This is a must have for your collection. I and others end up leaving this lens on the camera for most everyday shoots. If you can get it with light room it really makes this a stellar deal as LR is a $100 software($60ish resale).
Probably one of the best values in lenses out there; toiled between the 35mm and 50mm lens, but after setting my kit lens to both, I decided on the 35 as the 50 just cut out too much of the subject and wouldn't work indoors very well; This is great for portraits and everyday walkaround use
Really know complaints at all
This lenses was bought to do low light work indoors and learn portraiture. It is excellent for both. The shallow depth of field from f1.8 beautifully blurs the background to make the subject be the centre of attention. The low light performance allows indoor use with no flash which is great.
Feels cheap in the hand and have to admit it doesn't look very good mounted on the camera but the pictures from this lens are almost impossibly sharp. I bought this to replace a Sigma 30mm lens which cost double this and it's like night and day. Also very lightweight.
Great product for price
Nice and light, takes great quality images; Cat photo I uploaded with this review is a quick image I snapped with this lens
Not being about to zoom takes some getting used to; Not a bad point, just something different about this lens
Nice lens. Bought it on sale at 10% off, the best deal around. This lens is perfect for indoor, tight space. I am taking this on my trip, can't wait to use it a lot.
I purchased this lens mainly to use in low light situations when my 18-140 was too slow. It is also considerably lighter, compact and sharp.
This is my first DSLR camera. The quality of the photos are excellent. The large screen menu system is easy to read and navigate, even for a newby like me. Definitely good value for money, especially with the bonus prime lense.
While it's a shame that picture and sound quality haven't been upgraded, the iPhone 13 was great in these regards and the iPhone 14 is, too Excellent display Admirable headphone performance Solid build quality No upgrades to picture or sound Familiar design Notch is still present
