D600

After spending quite a bit of time with the D7100, I must admit I was sorely tempted to switch up to this camera. The D7100 may look a lot like its sibling, the D7000, but internally, it's almost a completely different camera - better ISO, better resolution, better autofocus, better LCD,...

Good resolution; great high ISO performance; faster autofocus than the D7000; very good handling

Redesigned button array on the back takes some getting used to

Nikon D600 review Review

The D600 may sit within Nikon's 'consumer' dSLR line-up, but don't expect to bag one for a few hundred pounds -- not for a few years, anyway, and even then not brand new.

Price; Resolution; Image quality; Movie performance; Build quality

Occasional minor chromatic aberration with kit lens; Heavy when fitted with lens

Nikon D600 review

The D800's little bro packs most of the same awesomeness, but with a more manageable number of megapixels and a more palatable price. On paper there's a ton of power per pound, with that 24.3MP full-frame sensor, a built-in flash, dual SD card slots, 39-point autofocus, 5.5fps continuous shooting...

Nikon cuts the cost but not the quality in this capable full-frame SLR

Worth every penny!

I purchased it online just before Xmas and I am really impressed with its performance under different light conditions and settings. The dials and buttons are exactly where you expect them and If you are already a Nikon user there is almost no need to read the manual.

Hello Duxford! Why did you upload the video only in 480?

Good camera but BE AWARE of important details!!!

3 things: -the dust issue is not a rumor and it's really annoying. However, if you never shoot f16 and up or don't shoot studio photography, you probably won't even notice. -The quality of this body is great it gives really good pictures (in the day).

Really good

I also own a D700 and overall, the at high ISO are better on the D600 which is good (sharper and less noisy at hight iso like 6400). On the other hand, I got difficulty controlling the exposure. Somehow the camera seems to slightly overexpose when compared to D700.
